QUILT OF VALOR INFORMATION Feb 28 Our next workshop will take place at Linderellas Quilt Works on Feb 28th. There will again be two
sessions or you can stay all day. The first session is 10:30 to 12:30
and the second session is from 1:30 to 3:30. Please be sure to call Carl
at Linderella’s to reserve a spot. Karen has chosen a pattern from Quiltmaker Magazine called Old Kentucky Album, created by Bonnie Hunter. Please read the "Sticky Note" attached to the pattern page (the note will show up if you mouse over the yellow patch on the bottom left).
We will put together the blocks we now have in the Old Kentucky Album Pattern. We have enough blocks to make two quilt tops. If you have any blocks at home, please bring them with you. We would like to have enough blocks to make at least three quilt tops, so we will be making some blocks at the meeting as well as putting them all together.
A Quilt of Valor is a generous lap-sized quilt and should be no smaller than 55" x 65" and no larger than 72" x 90". If you, or your guild have an interest in helping with this project, we generally send our QOV's thru the Quilts of Valor Foundation at this website: www.qovf.org
